Sunburn is actually a first degree burn where the skin becomes red and painful. This can be treated easily yourself, however if the skin blisters and blackens this is more serious and you should seek medical attention urgently. Overexposure to the sun ages the skin dramatically and can increase the risk of skin cancer.

Scientific research has shown that beta-carotene and vitamin E, particularly when taken together, help to protect the skin against burning.

Although we do need to spend some time in the sun without sun cream to produce vitamin D, to prevent sunburn keep yourself and your children covered with light clothing and protected with sun cream, and stay out of the midday sun, between around 10.30am and 3.30pm. If you are out in the sun make sure you drink plenty of water to avoid dehydration and sunstroke.

All available sun creams at 100% Nature are completely natural, waterproof and protect the skin against UV A, B and C rays, and certain products are specifically for eczema and sensitive skin. NB. It is important to touch the pills as little as possible, ideally tipping them into the lid and then directly into the mouth, and also to avoid eating and drinking at the same time as taking the remedy.
